      I omitted the nuts as well. The bottom was very smooth/creamy, the top was just the perfect amount of crunch. I used lemon juice instead of vinegar b/c I didn't have any and used whole milk. Because I misread the directions I sprinkled the cinnamon over the batter before putting the top on and I thought it delicious that way. Thank you very much, it was very enjoyable.

      Gorgeous and super-simple. I omitted the nuts from the topping but it still came up crunchy and yummy. I will definitely make this again.

      Very Very good!! Easy to make...loved the results! I used just a little more chopped walnuts on top than the recipe called for. DH on his way to the Dentist right now...with coffee cake in hand! (he is so jealous...he can't have any until he gets home!) House also smells wonderful!! Thank you!!
