This is a really good cake. It's even better on day two. The sour cream keeps it moist. I baked it in a 9X13 pan and cut 15 minutes off the baking time. It was easier to portion and freeze for future snacking in that pan.

I just took this cake out of the oven and it smells delicious! I am making it for my hubby's birthday and it's going to be a real success! I left out the walnuts due to personal taste, but apart from that I followed the recipe exactly. Excellent cake.

I have made this more times than I can count. This is truly a delicious coffee cake. Sometimes, depending on how I feel, I add 1/2 tsp almond extract in addition to the vanilla extract and sub fat-free plain yogurt for some of the sour cream. Yummy whichever way I make it!

Absolutely delicious!! I must I wondered where the coffee was [pardon my naivete] but after tasting the finished product I didn't care!! Not much of a sour cream person but I couldn't taste it at all!! I halved the recipe and used 1/2 cup of water and it turned out perfectly!! Thanks for posting!

This is an amazing coffee cake. It is soft, moist and utterly delicious. I was choosing between several recipes and am very pleased with this one. I am making this again! I did put this in two bread loaf pans and made an extra graham cracker, butter, brown sugar combination for the topping. I did however use the original cinnamon sugar combo for the layers in the cake.

This cake was unbeleivable! We could not stop eating it (trust me I tried) including the kids who are usually just nibblers. Make it; you'll love it!

This recipe is one of the best coffee cake recipes! It stays moist for days, unlike many others of this type. I did not use any nuts (personal preference) and used butter as I feel is necessary for flavor. Baking time in an angel food pan was exact. When sliced, the ripples of cinnamon made for a beautiful presentation. This cake was full of flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

I've been making this coffee cake for years! It's in one of my Taste of Home cookbooks. This is the best coffee cake ever...sooo moist and yummy. The only problem is that every time I make it, it takes forever to be completely baked, but it is well worth the long wait!

This cake was so good. Moist and really tasty. It makes a huge cake. I took it to work and my coworkers raved over it. I would definitely make it again.

I halved this recipe and prepared it because I wanted a smaller cake. This hit the right spot! Really good! Thank you for posting!
