I considered not posting this since it's not really a recipe, but I was so happy when I discovered this that maybe someone else will be, too! I'm not a fan of flavored coffees (most are too sweet), but cinnamon is an exception. I make it this way several times a week. The amounts listed are VERY approximate; I always just eyeball my coffee and am not sure how much I use. Just go with however you make your normal brewed coffee and sprinkle cinnamon to taste!

Directions

  1. Add coffee grounds and water to coffee maker as you normally do.
  2. Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on the coffee grounds, and brew as usual.

I gave this recipe 4 stars. This is very good coffee! I wanted some coffee as it's chilly here. I did make a few minor changes to the recipe. I mixed the cinnamon into the coffee grounds. I did also bump the cinnamon up x's 3. I used Folgers decaff. coffee and only scooped out 3 coffee scoops of cinnamon coffee. Since there was no water amount I used 9 coffee pot sizes of water. I was out of half n half so I tried skim milk and 3 tsp's of sugar. This was really good but I think it would be better if I had half n half. Overall this was so good and I will make this again for sure! Christine (internetnut)

This is a great alternative when you're in the mood for coffee with a little more "oomph." So easy and so cheap - who doesn't have cinnamon on hand? :)

When I worked at a bed and breakfast, we would start up the coffee first for our gourmet breakfasts. Each guest that walked in the warm, homey kitchen would first take a deep breath and ask for some of that "special" coffee. This is high on the convenience scale and makes plain coffee seem gourmet!
