  • Bring water, sugar and candies to boil over medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir constantly until dissolved.
  • Reduce heat and carefully add the apples. Cook (uncovered) until apples are tender, about 8 minutes.
  • Transfer apples to a serving dish and pour syrup on apples.
  • Serve either warm or chilled. Garnish with mint or whipped cream if you like.
