I have this in oven now, along with honey baked chicken drummies. My husband and I just "snuck" a taste. Only thing I did different was sprinkle a little nutmeg (my favorite spice) with the cinnamon. It is absolutely delicious. I have only had butternut boiled and mashed, but went to local orchard/farm store this past weekend and wanted to try something different. We will have chicken and butternut with homemade cranberry sauce. It smells like thanksgiving in here right now. Yummmm!!!!!
I sprinkled with sugar all over the top before baking. It was delicious and everyone raved!
Very, very nice. It is, however, always hard to get all of baked butternut squash equally tender. The flavor is wonderful. I do think less butter would be just fine.
