What a super switch up on the standard crisp. We enjoyed this after dinner tonight drizzled with some caramel sauce and forks. Delicious :D

I scaled this back for 1 serve but would have liked to have tasted the spices more otherwise each piece of apple sort of reminded me of an individual apple crumble, I served with some warm custard which made it pure comfort food on a cold winters night. Thank you katew, made for Make My Recipe - Edition 11.

4 stars. Crunchy coating but I would up the brown sugar next time as it wasn't sweet enough. I used allspice to replace the nutmeg as we don't consume nutmeg because of it's intoxicant properties. I did not have Golden Delicious apples so I used Granny Smith apples as I read they hold their shape well like Golden Delicious and red Delicious should not be used a substitute because they will become mushy. I used a brown egg and rice milk. I also served this with vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls because that is what I had on hand! Made for Everyday's a Holiday March 2010.

Fantastic topping coating these apple wedges!! I made 1/4 of the recipe and had them for a wonderful breakfast and added a scoop of ice cream in place of cream. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Potluck Tag Game.
