These were really good. I sauteed apple slice in cinnamon and brown sugar and poured over the top of the waffles.... hubby's request. Could use a bit more flour as I thought the batter was a bit too thin. Still a very good recipe and I will make again. May even grate the apples next time

A great waffle treat! Loved the addition of the apple to the recipe. I received 5 nice Belgium sized waffles from my waffle iron. Loved the cinnamon flavor that shone in this recipe. I topped with just a bit of butter and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Nothing else is really needed. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

Our family really enjoyed these. We doubled the recipe, but did just a couple things differently. I didn't separate the eggs, because honestly, I didn't want to do all the work or have another bowl to wash lol. turned out just fine. Also, added a little more cinnamon to the mix and diced the apples instead of grating them.

Great waffles!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and got more than 2 waffles, I would say at least 4 if not 6, but just froze the rest of the batter for a later breakfast, so not positive. Loved the combination of the cinnamon and apples with the waffle. I chose to just top them with butter and some powdered sugar. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for PRMR Tag Game.
