    Annacia's Note:

Tea is very popular in the Middle East. This is one that I've been making for a long time and not only does it taste great it has a mild soothing quality. It's certainly nothing medicinal but a few peaceful mins is a day can't be a bad thing. The cooking time is for steeping.

Love it! Great if you're sick...honey, lemon, cinnamon...what more could you want? I used loose leaf darjeeling. I added some vanilla sugar instead of plain & that was extra tasty! Made for NA/ME Tag 6/13, :)

Very soothing. I made as written, but would leave out the sugar (the honey would be sweet enough for me) and cut the lemon juice in half, or omit, next time, to let the licorice flavor shine more.

This recipe caught my attention cuz I am a tea lover. Anywho, this is delightful!
I used 3 star anise in place of seeds and of course the honey. Sitting here sipping my tea :D cuz I already had the allotted daily coffee. You don't need to be under the weather to enjoy this! Thanks for posting Annacia!
