  1. Isnt the yeast usually only one pouch (1/4 ounce)? one ounce is ALOT of yeast! I made this recipe with onlu 1/4 ounce of yeast and they came out PERFECT! Thanks for posting!

  2. This has become my go-to cinnamon roll recipe. A couple changes--I use real butter--I think it tastes much better than margarine in baked goods--and I let the rolls rise for a second time after I cut them and put them in the pan. They are fabulous and my whole family devours them!

  3. Haven't made them yet. They look pretty good though. It says ready in 55 min, but then it says let the dough rise for an hour. Very disappointed, not the level of quality I have come to expect from food.com. Also, the icing recipe is a lot better without cream cheese.

  4. These are so yummy! My family loves it when I make these Cinnamon Rolls. I usually make 2 batches & freeze them. Then defrost in Microwave, heat in the oven for about 10 min, & they taste like they were just made. I'm definitely going to do this for Christmas morning this year. I think it will be a new tradition for Christmas morn. Sure beats Pillsbury. Makes the house smell amazing as well. :-)

  5. I give this a MILLION stars! It was a lot of work but the result was worth it! I ended up making them a couple of times in one week to give to friends. It was hard to give them away because I wanted to eat them all myself! For the filling, I used one and a half of the amounts in this recipe. They were SOOO delicious!
