I like the Philadelphia cream cheese brown sugar cinnamon spread, but I wanted one a bit lower in fat (and cheaper). So, I came up with this one, using reduced-fat cream cheese, and I love it on sweet bagels like cinnamon apple or cinnamon raisin.
- Once cream cheese is soft, quickly beat it until it's smooth. Beat in brown sugar & cinnamon.
- Can serve immediately or refrigerate for later.
This was beautiful. I used fat free cream cheese and splenda brown sugar blends to make this even less sinful. With the addition of the cinnamon, which is thought to lower blood sugar levels, this is actually pretty diabetic friendly and seriously tasty to boot. I had it spread on a toasted English muffin for a indulgent tasting breakfast. Made for My Three Chefs.
