This zesty mayonnaise is a great alternative to traditional tartar sauce for almost any kind of seafood. This recipe comes from Bon Appetit.

  1. Blend first 5 ingredients in food processor until cilantro is chopped.
  2. Add mayonnaise and process just to blend.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and refrigerate until ready to use.

Wow, this stuff is great! I did cut the cilantro down to 3/4 of a cup due to picky eaters. We have used this on fish, roasted potatoes, even roast beef. Thanks for posting, Geema!

Delicious! Like to die for. Complex flavors blend beautifully with taste that lingers and expands. I used cayenne rather than hot sauce and lemon juice, not lime. I didn't measure anything, but followed the principal idea. Terrific!

If you like cilantro, you'll love this! I halved the recipe but used almost a full cup oc cilantro. Served with baked tilapia, this was wonderful! Thank you Geema!
