Changed a few things.... I only used 2 Tablespoons of Light olive oil and added 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) of the bean juice (I did not rinse the beans either). I used 3/4 cup or so of pickled Jalapeno slices, added 4 sliced green onions, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1/4 cup lime juice & the zest of the lime and a little more Cilantro than called for. I feel 1/2 cup of Olive oil is way to much to add to it... the bean juice from the can worked very well and made a very wonderful Hummus that is a bit healthier! 5 stars & thanks for sharing! :)

A day without hummus is...is...okay. It's okay, but just "okay". Makes sense?

This recipe is delicious! I used about 1/3 cup of olive oil, one BIG jalapeno, and everything else by the recipe. I also put it in the food processor a little longer at the end. Amazing flavor! :)

Great recipe. Simple and tasty. I added a little more lime juice for an extra kick. Thanks!

I thought this would be too spicy with two jalapenos, but it was just right. I took a few liberties, using 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil and then water to get it the right consistency. This is very delicious with crackers and I can't wait to eat it for the rest of the week. A nice spin on a classic. Thanks!

Totally delicious! I took a few liberties, couldn't resist ;) I made a half batch using a huge garlic clove, juice from a big lime (love the stuff), 2T. olive oil and drizzled in water until the consistency was smooth enough. I didn't measure, just used a sm. handful of cilantro (another love!). This was so good on tortilla chips I didn't even realize until 1/3 of the way through the bowl that I forgot the peppers! Thanks C - I'll make this one again for sure!

It tasted too much like olive oil as made.

This was fantastic. I am a hummus fan and really liked the kick from the jalapenos as well as the addition of cilantro. I will definitely be making this again.
