This is my sons favorite thing when he was small..so he came home for Thanksgiving and I used this recipe...but used splenda to cut down on the sugar...it came out perfect.
what monkey bread? As soon as it cooled (not long!) it was GONE! I think I got one little chunk, and the family wolfed down the rest :)

These were great! I did have to cook longer than 20 minutes to get the inside done, but the flavor was great!
Ever since I can remember, this was our traditional family breakfast on Christmas morning! Now we are continuing that tradition with our own kids! We all love the smell of this fabulous breakfast baking in the oven on Christmas morning and it will forever remind me of FAMILY! Delicious!
Leanne..This was wonderful for an after dinner treat during the week. The only change I made was to use the cinnamon and sugar canned biscuits. My 3 year old and I made this for breakfast on Saturday morning. He had a ball rolling the pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture and he had an even better time gobbeling this yummy breakfast up! I added a tablespoon of cinnamon instead of just a teaspoon. I prepared mine in an angel food cake pan, but wasn't thinking about the fact that it was a two piece pan, which means while baking most of the butter mixture seeped out. Goof up on my part. Even with that, it was a delicious, sweet, buttery treat! Thank you!
This was an easy and great tasting recipe. My son made this for breakfast this morning and you had to be quick to get some! We did add extra cinnamon because we love the taste. Thanks for sharing.
