DH and I loved these carrots. Thanks for posting, it is a wonderful alternative to the same old glazed carrots.

These carrots were pretty good. Let's be honest, bacon makes any dish taste good. This would be good on a camp out cooked in a dutch oven, maybe with some potatoes. There was a little too much butter in there for me, so next time I will just add half the butter it calls for, but it was a good recipe. I liked it.

Absolutely fabulous and very attractive! I used a bag of baby carrots with great results. Will definitely make these again. Loved the bacon. Not overly sweet but the sweet/salty combination is addictive. I stood and picked so many of these carrots out of the pot that I couldn't eat our main dish tonight!:) Would be great for the holidays. Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.

This is the first time I've ever cooked carrots as a side dish other than cooking with a roast - I generally do not like "sweet" glazed carrots, and DH doesn't like carrots really. But I needed to use up some carrots and this seemed like a nice alternative. It does have a good flavor, and the brown sugar does not make it overly sweet. I halved the butter but left everything else the same - the bacon & onion added a good flavor. I served as a side to Ground Beef Noodles in Sour Cream.

I didn't have fresh carrots, so I used frozen. They were excellent. My husband who hates carrots loved these. Will definitely make again.

Good- maybe less butter/brown sugar next time. My husband ate them, and he doesn't like carrots- but he loves bacon!

Very good carrots and I skipped the brown sugar since the carrots were sweet all on their own.

I don't particularly like carrots, but this recipe makes them taste delicious.

This was very very good. Quite appetizing and my husband loved it. He usually doesn't like carrots. Will add this to my regular menus. Margie
