Christy's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

ingredients

• 793.78 g can stewed tomatoes
• 411.06 g can crushed tomatoes
• 113.39 g can tomato paste
• 453.59 g lean ground beef or 453.59 g Italian sausage
• 1 onion, chopped
• 5 garlic cloves, chopped
• 14.79 ml white sugar
• 14.79 ml dried basil
• 2.46 ml dried oregano
• salt and pepper

directions

1. Blend the stewed tomatoes, crushed tomatoes and tomato paste in a blender.
2. Brown meat,onions and garlic.
3. Add tomato blend to meat, reduce heat.
4. Add sugar, basil and oregano and simmer for 40 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
