  • Ring

  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange rind
  • 23 cup toasted coconut
  • Orange Glaze

  • 18 cup sugar
  • 18 cup orange juice
  • 1 12 tablespoons butter
  • Confectioners Sugar Frosting

  • 3 12 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 14 cup hot orange juice
  • 13 cup melted butter

Directions

  1. Unroll crescent rolls and spread with melted butter.
  2. Combine sugar, orange rind and coconut.
  3. Sprinkle rolls with coconut mixture.
  4. Roll and arrange in circles in two lightly greased 8" round pans.
  5. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  6. Meanwhile, combine ingredients for orange glaze or confectioner's sugar icing.
  7. Spread on cooled Christmas Ring and decorate with cherries, nuts, etc.
  8. Freezes nicely.
  9. Makes 2 rings.
