A lovely Christmas candy, to serve at the holiday season...very easy to make too.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 10 ounces vanilla chocolate chips
  • 1 cup almonds, toasted,and coarsely chopped
  • 12 cup candied red cherries, quartered
  • 12 cup green glazed cherries, quartered
  • 12 cup sweetened flaked coconut

Directions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
  2. In a double broiler over low heat, or in the microwave, melt the chips until smooth.
  3. Remove from the heat, and stir in the almonds and the red and green cherries.
  4. Drop by tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Sprinkle with the coconut.
  6. Refrigerate until firm.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
