  1. Just 4 simple ingredients combined together make a superb, almost exotic sweet. I had most of the ingredients on hand and it was easy to put together. I'm putting these on my list of standards. I can already visualize the made small in paper cups and put in a gift box for any holiday occasion. Great recipe.

  2. Terrific candy! I used 1 c. chocolate chips, 1 c. butterscotch chips, and 1 1/2 c. chow mein noodles (no nuts). Came out perfect. We also had these last month at a church function where they were made with only butterscotch chips and chow mein noodles, which was also very good.

  3. I love this candy. We actually call them Chinese Chews. I couldn't find cans of chow mein noodles at my grocery store, so I just bought the packages that I could find. 1 ounce seemed to be a very small amount of noodles, so I used 3 cups. Thanks for posting a yummy simple recipe.

  4. this recipe is very simmilar to a family recipe. the only difference is that we use caramel instead of butterscotch. we fight over these at christmas. :) great recipe!
