Man, this is one serious and rich chocolate blast. I didn't have enough Hershey's syrup, so I made up for it by melting about 2/3 c. chocolate chips and 2 squares bitter chocolate. I also reduced the amount of sugar in the frosting. This cake seems to get more decadent as it sits, with the chocolate flavors intensifying. It would be so good with vanilla ice cream. (I think a run to the store may be in order.) A definite "wow" cake!!
