Chocolate Spritz Cookies

"This is a recipe from Pillsbury. I got tired of only using my cookie press for regular butter spritz and thought I would try something new. I really liked these and would make them again. These freeze well so they are great for making ahead for the holidays."

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In large bowl, combine sugar and butter, beat until light and fluffy. Add the chocolate,vanilla and egg. blend well.
  • Stir in flour and baking powder. Mix well.
  • Put dough in cookie press and press onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 4-7 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
