Grew up eating these and still love them
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1⁄4 cup coconut
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- Boil together milk, butter and sugar until sugar is dissolved - stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
- Roll by the tablespoon or slightly larger, into balls.
- Roll balls in coconut.
- Chill for several hours.
