I have to make this for school and was surprised that it wasn't listed here yet.
- Butter a 9x13x2 inch dish.
- Microwave butter, marshmallows, and chocolate chips on high for 2-3 minutes. Stir.
- Add Rice Krispies. Mix well.
- Spread into dish.
- Chill, then cut into squares.
Great recipe. I like that this is made in the microwave. It was easy. I used christmas rice krispies. Great taste of chocolate. Thanks tazdevilfan :) Made for all you can cook buffet
Very good recipe! I modified it a bit: I used 3 cups Cocoa Pebbles and 3 cups Rice Krispies and I also made this on this stove, like traditional rice krispy treats. I added the chocolate chips after the butter was melted before I added the marshmallows. It all came together really well! Spray your hands with Pam before adding to pan to cool. Thanks for posting!
I have been making this since I was a little girl. The only difference in the recipe is that we only use 6 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate chips and make it on the stovetop. I want to try the microwave way. Sounds easy!
