Chocolate Ribbon Coffee Cake

ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
• 2 cups flour
• 8 ounces sour cream
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate, grated, and divided
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon

directions

1. Blend sugar and butter.
2. Add flour, sour cream, eggs, BP, soda and vanilla.
3. Spread half of the mixture into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1 square of grated chocolate and 1 t. cinnamon.
4. Pour remaining half of batter on top.
5. Sprinkle other grated square of chocolate and cinnamon.
6. Draw a knife through the batter to swirl the chocolate and cinnamon.
7. Bake at 350 deg. for 60 minutes.
8. Cool 10 minutes.
9. 10 servings.
