This is very good... and I'm surprised on how easy it is to prepare considering it's chocolate truffle! A tad bit bitter ... and it tastes like it may be from the Chambord, not the chocolate. I would make again. You bet!
This cake is so sinful and delicious! One of my colleagues made this cake to share with the faculty and topped the entire cake with dark chocolate ganache. There was hardly a piece left! So yummy and great for festive occasions. Thank you for sharing.
Unbelievable!!! It really is like one huge chocolate raspberry truffle. I made this yesterday for my husband's birthday. I served it with raspberry sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. I accidentally reduced the raspberries too much, so I added extra liquor to equal 1/2 c with no ill effects. Both the raspberry and chocolate flavors jump out at you. A liitle piece goes a long way for me, but my chocaholic husband has already managed to polish off about half the cake. Thanks so much for sharing!
