  1. Great recipe. Easy, speedy and very tasty. It uses just a few basic ingredients that I always have on hand so it is a wonderful emergency dessert when unexpected guests call on their way to visit. As we are retired. and spend 3 months in Florida during the winter it is my "go to" dessert whenever we have dinner guests. Very decadent served warm with ice cream. I have made this many, many times since I first found the recipe a few years ago. Thank you for posting.

  2. This is delicious! Followed the recipe exactly as stated. Will be making this many times in the future. My husband likes his with some Cool Whip. I like mine just the way it is. Yum!

  3. Such a yummy cake!! Easy to make. Make sure your pan is big enough. I accidentally put it in an 8 inch pan and it bubbled over. It still tasted divine but made a mess!! I look forward to making this simple recipe again.

  4. I have been making a very simular recipe for years, mine doesn't have brown sugar. I like this one even better! Easy and delicious! I will be using this recipe now.

  5. DW had surgery and was craving a chocolate cake with pudding. I put a posting on Recipe Request Forum and AndyPandy suggested this one. Wonderful cake and so easy to make. I will be making it again.

Tweaks

  1. Melt-in-your-mouth & easy chocolate fix!!! The outcome was like I have spent hours making the cake. Too bad mine was a bit over-cooked so that I got chocolate pudding instead of warm chocolate sauce. Anyway, this cake tasted so great. I think brown sugar really gives cocoa powder a deep & rich flavour. Mthks for such a great recipe. I'll be making this again real soon.
