Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Easy and delicious!! I whipped these up in no time! I used chocolate chips for all of the chocolate and had great results. Cutting into squares before the chocolate completely hardens is important. I'm so glad I doubled this recipe because they are seriously addictive!! Thanks, Ex-pat Mama!!! ;-)

  1. Grease a 9x9 pan. Set aside.
  2. Place the first three ingredients (the chocolates and 1 tablespoon of butter) into a microwave safe bowl and melt completely. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients to make the peanut butter base. Mix until smooth. The mixture will have a slightly "sandy" texture.
  4. Ignore any lumps in the brown sugar. Press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Spread the melted chocolate over all. Put the pan in the fridge to set.
  6. Cut into 48 pieces (best if you cut the pieces before the chocolate is completely hard).
