I used quick oatmeal. And I cooked it another minute in the microwave. It's so yummy. I used a small envelop of hot chocolate powder. Thanks Sweet Baboo :) Made for PRMR tag game

Made for DH this morning and he loved it stating "taste like peanut butter brownie batter" Made as written using dark hot chocolate powder. Thanks for the post.

Excellent with a few adjustments, including addition of cinnamon, brown sugar, and oatmeal, and subtract half the cocoa.

I made this using Hot Dark Cocoa, Sugar Free in place of the hot chocole mix. Also used almond butter in place of chunky p.b. Not that I don't love p.b....I just wanted to see if almond butter added a different take. (Next time I"ll stick with the p.b.) I've made chocolate oatmeal b/f using cocoa powder and so using the hot chocolate mix was different for me too. It really does add a different and unique taste to the oatmeal. Really tasty and one I will definitely repeat. Thanks Sweet~ Made for PRMR!

this is great! I used cocoa powder instead of hot chocolate mix because I ran out of it, so I added 2 tbs of brown sugar (I prefer my oatmeal sweet) and used milk instead of water. Perfect! Tasted like oatmeal chocolate cake, in a liquidy version :D thanks for the recipe!

Soooooo good! This morning I followed directions and thought it seemed a little liquidy, but so tasty! 11yo son kind of turned his nose up at it. (Busy with his own instant oatmeal. humpf!) Made it again this afternoon with double the oatmeal and a little extra water. Still good, but will probably only add a little extra oatmeal next time (tomorrow morning! HA HA!) This time 11yo tried it and later said, "will you get up early tomorrow and make some of that for me?" Won't he be surprised at how easy this is! YUMMY! Thank you! This was good and easy to make in the morning. I followed the recipe as written other then I used milk instead of water and I cut back on the milk since others stated the mixture was running and I don't care for my oatmeal runny. We eat a lot of oatmeal so will be making this again.

Delicious... perfect... I had to double the recipe, though, because I knew it would be heavenly and I would want more :D

I haven't been completely enamored of oatmeal with chocolate flavors yet... but this one is a winner, and I'm not even a chocoholic! I used 1/4 cup quick-cooking Quaker oats (not instant) and a scant tablespoon of cocoa powder, microwaved it with the water for about a minute and a half... then I stirred in about a teaspoon of peanut butter, because I don't like overpowering flavors, and three packets of Splenda since cocoa powder can be sort of bitter. With the exception of maybe adding more Splenda next time, this is a keeper! Thanks for posting.

This was yummy, but I thought it was a little too watery for my tastes! I might try less water next time, or add a little more oatmeal. But it tasted great!
