Chocolate Peanut-Butter Fudge

This is an unusual fudge recipe that uses water instead of milk. My family won't let me make anything else.


  1. Before starting fill sink with approximately 6 inches of water. This is used to cool and help set mixture.
  2. Add sugar, cocoa, water, syrup in large pot.
  3. Bring to boil, stir constantly.
  4. Reduce heat, stir often. Bring to soft ball stage. Approximately 7-10 minute.
  5. Set pan in sink filled water. Beat in peanut butter, continue beating vigorously.
  6. Pour onto buttered platter. Let set. Cut into 25 pieces.

i cant really rate it. i made it but the first time i guess i didnt cook it long enough as it remained goo. then the next time i over cooked and it was so hard and crystally that i had to throw it out. so just watch the time on cooking very closely i guess.. the taste seemed to be ok.
