I actually wanted to just eat a big, fat peanut butter cup (or two...or four...) for breakfast, but with the never-ending endeavor to lose weight, I thought that might be a bad idea (well, it is anyway). Hehe. This is really indulgent, and really good!!! I put the milk, oats and chocolate chips in, and I made it in the microwave. The milk takes a little longer to absorb, so it took my microwave 3 minutes on HIGH (stirring before it overflowed-you MUST watch it!). After it came out, I mixed everything else in. I added 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, and I used Splenda for the sugar. I will be enjoying this with a banana this morning. Thanks for this bangin' recipe!

2 out of 4 kids loved. The other 2 thought it was okay. Even my 9 year old daughter, who is a self proclaimed oatmeal and peanut butter hater ate 2 bowls. This is why its getting 5 stars. Okay it may not be the healthiest breakfast around but they are eating oatmeal, so its all good.

I really liked this! Since I am watching my calories, I used 1/4 cup rolled oats with 1/3 cup milk-used 3/4 tsp natural PB with 1/2 tsp mini chocolate chips. I used a single Splenda pkt for sweetening with was perfect for my tastes. I couldn't really taste the chocolate but the PB taste was wonderful. I also added a shake of cinnamon for kicks! I may increase the chocolate a bit more next time :-). Thank u for sharing this.
