I admit it - I'm one of those jerks who use other people's reviews to decide what recipes to use off the 'Zaar, but then I never review the recipe. Well, this time I had no reviews to rely on, but I decided to give this a shot for my annual cookie party. It's fantastic! I didn't even do the drizzle, and everyone was raving about this tasty little treat. I used Hershey's Bliss Creme de Menthe Meltaways cut in half for the centers. They're little squares, so it was easy to fold the dough around them. The candy cane pieces made these look beautifully festive for the holidays, and if you chop them finely with a rolling pin, they blend in really well with the rest of the cookie. I also didn't have mini chocolate chips in the house, so I just chopped regular chocolate chips a little more finely, and they worked great. Give this one a shot - you won't be sorry.
