These cookies were absolutely delicious! Admittedly, I am partial to marzipan, but these were seriously awesome. My tube of marzipan was 8 ounces, so I used a little more than the recipe called for, but they turned out perfectly. I made an almond butter cream frosting, but honestly the cookies were better all on their own, they have such a delicate almond flavor, and mixed with the chocolate, oh my gosh...I think these were the best cookies I've ever made!
Followed the recipe exactly and they were very good, but not quite enough oomph to give them 5 stars. I think I would try without the cocoa to make them a little more Scandinavian-y.
I just finished making these and they turned out fantastic! Chewy and delicious. The marzipan flavour is there but subtle. Very good and highly recommended!
just finished making these, they turned out perfect. not too sweet and the almond flavour isn't strong. my package of marzipan was just under 6 ounces and it worked with no problems.

These are excellent. I used some marzipan I picked up in Brussels. Chewy and has a delicious almond flavor. To spiff them up a bit, I made a simple frosting with confectioner's sugar and corn syrup. Frosted just the center and put some holly leaf and berry sprinkles for Christmas. Beautiful!!

These cookies are wonderful. I made them when visiting my mother since she loves marzipan. The two of us couldn't stop eating the cookies. These are a great holiday cookie. I will be making these again! Thanks so much for the recipe.
Just made these this morning. They are great. Will definitely make again before Christmas. My fussy husband likes them also.
