I think I got this from a jello recipe booklet, I've made it many times, usually with left over cake. My sister, Tracy really likes this and I will make it when ever she visits. A very quick and easy dessert.
- 4 cups cold milk
- 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 chocolate cake layer, cooled and cut into cubes
- 1⁄4 cup chocolate, syurp
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 1 minute or until well blended. Place half of the cake cubes into serving or trifle dish, drizzle with half of chocolate sryup, spread with half of chocolate pudding, then whipped topping. Repeat layers, ending with whipped topping. Refrigerate.
