Make and share this Chocolate Icing recipe from Food.com.
- Melt 2 tablespoons margarine and 3 tablespoons cocoa.
- Remove from heat and mix in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 teaspoons vanilla extract and 1-1/2 tablespoons hot water.
- Spread over cooked brownies and ect.
This was FANTASTIC!! It was exactly what I was looking for! The only change I made was substituting Crisco for the butter since I was looking to make it complete lactose free. Really tasty! Thanks Elizabeth!
If you are looking for a dark chocolate icing this is what you want! I substituted milk for water to make it creamier tasting and although I'm a dark chocolate lover I thought this was a little much for icing. Will use less coca and more milk and sugar next time
