Sounds strange, but this is my favorite breakfast meal! Truly southern!
- 2⁄3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Mix flour sugar and cocoa in a large bowl.
- Add milk and beaten egg.
- Cook until thick over low heat stirring constantly.
- Set off burner and add vanilla and butter.
- Serve over hot biscuits.
