  • Preheat oven to 350°F Cream together butter and sugars; beat in vanilla and eggs. Stir in flour, ground oats, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips and ginger. Place tablespoon-size balls on ungreased baking sheets; bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly soft in the center. Let cool on baking sheets for about 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool.
