  1. in large bowl, cream butter and beat in sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. add eggs, one at a time, beating continously.
  3. fold in shifted flour and cocoa powder, then add vanilla and chopped nuts.
  4. continue to mix until thoroughly blended.
  5. preheat oven to 350 F or 180 C drop teaspoonfuls of mixture on greased baking sheet.
  6. dust with icing sugar.
  7. bake for about 20 minutes.
  8. cool on wire rack and serve.
  9. makes about 48 pieces.
