Everytime I need chocolate frosting- this is the recipe I use! It's fantastic and it's perfect when you want a deep, dark chocolate buttercream.
- 236.59 ml butter, softened
- 907.18 g powdered sugar
- 473.18 ml cocoa powder
- 14.79 ml vanilla extract
- 236.59 ml milk
- Beat butter, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and milk until smooth.
- Hint: If using for piping decorations, use a little less milk.
Very good! This is now my go-to recipe for chocolate frosting. I used heavy cream instead of milk and it turned out great. Very easy to throw together and beats the heck out of the old stove top fudge frosting I used to make.
