Tasty flavor combo. I made this two times--the first time, I let the espresso cool to room temperature and chopped the chocolate chips (bittersweet) a bit before adding the remaining ingredients. I didn't add any milk, as the mixture was quite thin by the time the chocolate chips were chopped enough. I made it again and chilled the espresso and chopped the chocolate chips into tiny bits before adding the remaining ingredients, and that worked better. (I still didn't find it needed milk.) Nice shake--thanks to your husband for sharing his recipe! :)
