Very yummy! Made it for a barbecue and everyone loved it. I didn't use chocolate frosting because I forgot to buy it. Instead, I melted some dark chocolate chips with some heavy cream over a double boiler. The dark chocolate was a bit heavy for this dessert, so I'd probably use semisweet morsels or the chocolate frosting as written when I make it again.

It's a tasty, easy, simple dessert. Tasted good the first day, but I didn't like it the second day. The graham crackers became too soggy for me to enjoy it. I do think this basic recipe lends itself to change very easily. Change the crackers to cookies and the vanilla pudding to something like lemon curd and you'd have another tasty, easy, simple dessert.

I started making this 2 years ago, when I first got married. I plan menus (usually even for company and carry ins) around what I have in my fridge and pantry. I don't usually go and buy items for specific recipes. Now typically when I am asked to make a dessert, this is one of the first things I check to see if I can make, and if I have Cool Whip and milk (the other ingredients are always in my pantry) I usually make this. This is a super easy and very yummy dessert. What more could we ask for. I assemble the pudding and the graham crackers and refrigerate overnight, then I add the frosting a few hours before serving, and refrigerate again. I have never warmed the frosting as we don't own a microwave. But I have never had trouble spreading the frosting at room temperature, perhaps having the graham cracker crust soften makes it easier to spread over it.

This recipe is always a winner! My kids helped me make this, and it occurred to me that they could maybe make this all by themselves--it's that easy!

I made this with french vanilla pudding and used Lite Cool Whip. This dessert is sooo good, but so rich! I can only stand to eat a little piece at a time. OH, one warning though. I stuck the container of chocolate frosting in the microwave and it created instant sparks! Guess I should have known not to do that! Anyways, this is definitely very good. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome! I was skeptical about it but it was a huge hit. There is just enough chocolate but not too much. Makes a lot! Definitely a keeper. I made this in 5 mins too.
