I have been making donuts this way for years. Vary quick and easy. I have made maple glaze a few times, but never chocolate. Tossing with powdered sugar or cinnamon/sugar is our favorite. The glaze sounds delicious, but seems like more work than I am interested in. LOL
I make these fairly often for my kids. I like to quarter the biscuits to make doughnut holes. Then I just mix powdered sugar with just enough water or milk to make a nice glaze. Take them out of the grease, drop in glaze, roll around and eat as the rest cooks! LOL! A quick delicious treat!
