  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
  • Mix dry ingredients together. Add half of dry mixture to wet ingredients. Add Carnation milk and then remaining dry mixture. Add chopped chocolate.
  • Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 45-50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  1. This was quite good! My son decided he wanted something different for his birthday, so we made this cake. He loved it and has already asked when we can make it again. It's an extremely rich cake, so small pieces are in order, with ice cream or milk to balance it out.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
