This is the moistest, easiest cake to make. So delicious and goes in the oven in a matter of minutes. You can't go wrong with this one, it even won my husband a cooking prize in the Hubby Desert Bake-Off at church.
- 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3⁄4 cup oil
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 3 eggs
- 8 ounces chocolate chips
- Mix all ingredients EXCEPT chocolate chips with a mixer.
- Add in chocolate chips and stir to distribute.
- Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 325 degrees for approximately 1 hours.
THIS cake is DANGEROUSLY delicious to waist line! Of course...that's because I hate, seriously, HALF the cake all by myself! DELICIOUS! So glad you shared it!
This is a very good cake recipe ~ and very easy to make as well. It's very moist but not as chocolaty as I like and that may be because I used sugar free pudding. I don't usually like chocolate chips added into cakes but I do like them in this recipe. I made a glaze to go over the top and it really adds alot to the cake. This would be a great cake to take to a potluck or a picnic. Thanks for posting! Made for Pick~A~Chef Spring 2008.
WOW!! You were right. Easy and in the oven in minutes. Just like i like it!! I only had 1/2 cup of sour cream so I used 1/2 cup of cream cheese to make up the difference. My family has raved about this cake. So moist, chocolaty and sweet. This is a "10" in my cake recipes. Thnaks for sharing.
