A huge hit with the family! These waffles are excellent both freshly made and frozen then reheated in the toaster. This a new family favorite. I did cut back on the mini chocolate chips just a little to try and make them a tad healthier. The recipe made 11 waffles for me. Thanks for sharing!
These are fantastic! I omitted the salt since I used salted butter. Served topped with lots of butter & powdered sugar! Yummm
Just made these for breakfast for my kids, and they got the thumbs up! I made as directed, but increased the sugar to 2 tablespoons, and next time I think I will also increase the cinnamon--we like a hint of cinnamon flavor in our waffles/pancakes, but the chocolate chips in this recipe covered that up-- and add a little vanilla. This recipe gave me 11 square waffles. Thanks for sharing! Will file this one away for future use!
I literally made an account to review this. I've tried so many recipes online and nothing beats this. I make this for my friends when they sleep over and everyone loves them. My mom also (the biggest critic) LOVES them. Obsessed. I recommend
Really delicious but didn't make as many as I thought. The first batch was 10 waffles, not enough to feed our hungry crew so I had to make an add'l batch but had a few leftover to have again. They were very rich so next time I'll probably only use half the mini chocolate chips.
Really, really good! My 12 YO DD requested these for breakfast for her bday party sleepover and they were a big hit! Definitely a keeper.
