ingredients

• crumb topping

• 1⁄2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1⁄2 cup flour
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 cup chocolate chips

• COFFEE CAKE

• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 3⁄4 cup butter
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 3⁄4 cup milk
• 3⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
• 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

directions

1. Crumb Topping.
2. Combine brown sugar and flour.
3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
5. Set aside.
6. Cake.
7. Combine cream cheese, sugar, butter, mix at medium speed until blended.
8. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
9. Add combined dry ingredients and milk, mixing well.
10. Spoon into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan.
11. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
12. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
