This was just plain good. It was simple to make but tasted like you spent hours making these. Thanks for the great awesome recipe. I will be making this again.

These are just awesome! I have made these several times already and my whole family just loves them. I did not have any heavy whipping cream on hand so I just used 2% milk for the shortcake batter, and they turned out great. To top the Strawberries I used some cool whip. What a great desert!

WOW!!! This is wonderful!!! Perfect sweetness in the shortcakes and it is just such flavorful biscuits. This will be my new go to for shortcakes, maybe not always with the chocolate chips. I also made the homemade whipped topping and that is definitely so much better than the canned or cool whip!!! Thanks Hokies for another great recipe!!! Made for 123 Hit Wonders Tag.

Was determined from the time I first saw this recipe to make it as a breakfast dessert, so that's what I did, & it was GREAT ~ Unexpected, but GREAT! I even set out a bowl of the mini chocolate chips to sprinkle on top, & that's just what everyone did! I also enjoyed the simplicity of making the shortcakes ~ Right up my alley! Thanks for sharing!
