- Preheat oven to 275 F.
- Beat egg whites until stiff.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar and continue to beat.
- Add remaining sugar and lemon juice: continue to beat.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
- Drop by teaspoon - 2 inches apart.
- Bake in slow oven until slightly browned - about 2/4 to1 hour.
- Let cool on waxed paper.
