  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the first four ingredients until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add in vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a seperate bowl, then stir into the creamed mixture.
  • Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  • Then lastly, gently fold in the cocoa powder to create a marbled effect.
  • Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
