Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine butter, flour, brown sugar and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix with a fork and then with fingers until blended.
  4. Sprinkle into an 8 inch squae pan and press firmly to cover bottom of pan and bake 10 minutes.
  5. Beat eggs, add brown sugar and vanilla, beat again.
  6. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
  7. Stir in coconut, walnuts and chocolate chips.
  8. Spread over crust in pan and bake 25 minutes or until golden.
  9. Cool and cut in bars.

These were so simple to make and turned out wonderful...made for PAC Spring 2011...took them to euchre and everyone raved about them.
