      I guess if I followed the recipe I could give it 5 stars. I doubled it, subbed 1/2 c whole wheat flour, quick oats for rolled oats, and left out the nuts. There was enough crunch w/the cereal, and I don't know if it was the quick oats, but they seemed to make it almost too chewy. I started at 375 but the bottoms got too dark, so went with 350 and they turned out fine. This recipe was good for sneaking in nutrition with the cereal and oats (and the bit of ww flour didn't seem to affect taste).

      My family really liked these! They were easy to make. I would suggest a few more corn flakes and the cookies came out better when I refrigerated the dough for about a half to one hour before baking. Yummy and a little differnt than your average chocolate chip cookie.

      Great cookie jar cookies! Used extra corn flakes instead of nuts and didn't grease the pans. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

      Great cookies! My kids love them--they are my new standard cookies. Historically, my regular chocolate chip cookies tend to be a little flat. These are shapely little cookies. I tried annlouise's suggestion to sub 1/2 of the flour with whole wheat flour--that worked out fine. I also took Robin's advice and used 2 cups of corn flakes instead of 1 1/2 (just enough crunch). Also, I used non stick cookie sheets so I did not grease the pans. I did not have a problem with any sticking. Thanks!
