Good tasting chewy cookie! I found they flattened out more than I was used to with other recipes, so I put the dough in the fridge to help stiffen the dough. Would definitely make again!

Excellent recipe. They taste just like the cookies I buy fresh from the bakery, nice and chewy. This will be my only chocolate chip cookie recipe from on. Thanks!!!

I found my forever choc chip cookie recipe with this one. I am just not gifted in the baking department. I have tried many cookie recipes here and thankfully have always made out but not like I have with this one. I made subs too so having said that I thought for sure they wouldnt turn out. I used all organic ingredients; and used whole wheat flour instead of white. Used sugar in the raw (turbinado?) for the sugar. I left the cookies plain, then after they were spooned onto the cookie sheet i added carob chips in some, walnuts in others, organic dark chocolate chunks in others and some left plain. My 4yr old daughter, who helped to make them loved them too. Texture was great; chewey and soft and the flavor was right on as well; very very fresh tasting. Marney you were right; I wont be going back to another chocolate chip cookie again. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Great recipe. I used caramel chocolate chips and the cookies were scrumptious. My kids loved them too. I don't think these cookies will be around too long. I keep stealing one everytime I walk by. Thanks Marney.
